LLM settings
Choose the language model iZakat uses. This one setting applies to the whole app and to every user; only administrators can change it. Whatever a feature sends to the model goes to the chosen provider, so use a self-hosted model if that is not acceptable.
Nisab by state
The nisab (the value of 85 g of gold) is set by each State Islamic Religious Council. iZakat reads it from each state’s official site (Repository C) when you press Refresh. A value whose page mentions an earlier year waits for your approval. Kedah, Kelantan and Pulau Pinang can’t be read automatically: enter their value by hand. A value you enter always wins. A calculation keeps the nisab it confirmed, even after a refresh.
Prompts
The instructions the AI model gets when it reads a calculation’s financial documents, one per task. They apply to every user. The app always adds fixed rules after them (the exact answer format, page references, and never inventing a figure), so editing a prompt can’t break the calculation. Every figure the model reads is a suggestion the user accepts or dismisses.
